THE LIFE OF A MONKEY
Once upon a time, live a monkey named Koko. He likes to play on his own because he has little friends. He lives with his mom on a giant tree house that they built in the forest from oak wood three years ago. He doesn’t have any siblings, so he only play when his friends are hanging around the tree.
In a one hot sunny day, Koko’s mom asked him and his friend, Bob to pick some bananas on the Banaan forest. The forest is not so far from Koko’s house, so it only takes them 10 minutes to get there. When they arrived, they saw so many banana trees with giant bananas, but they are all located very high up in the tall trees.
Since Koko is older and stronger than Bob, so Koko decided to pick the giant bananas. When he is on the tree, he tried to take the banana but instead, he fell down from a high tree. Koko breaks his arms and legs. Bob rushed to Koko and carry him to his house. When they arrived at home Bob called Koko’s mom and tell what happened.
His mom and Bob carry Koko to his room and lay him down on his bed. Koko’s mom goes to the doctor’s house and brought him to the tree house. The doctor does everything to cure Koko from his injury. The doctor says that Koko needs to rest for six months to fully healed. Koko just lay down on his bed every day. Bob and Koko’s mom took care of Koko every day. They fed him with bananas and nuts.
Koko sometimes tried to sneak out of his room to join his friends, Bob, Kevin and Stuart playing in the swing near his house, but his mom always caught him and put him back to his bed. After four months after Koko’s injury, Koko’s mom died. She died because of a poisonous plant that she accidently ate. Koko was really sad and he felt very lonely after his mom died.
Bob, Kevin and Stuart decided to take care of Koko because they are his only friends. Koko was happy that their friends took care of him while he was injured. Five months after Koko’s injury, he can walk normally like he used to. Bob ask the doctor to check Koko’s condition. They were all happy when the doctor said that Koko may now walk but he can’t run. His arm is still healing, but his leg is already working normally. Koko is very happy because he can move without any help from others. His friends are proud of themselves because they help Koko and take care of him after he got an injury that almost killed himself. A month later, Koko meet the doctor, and he took his cast off. He was so happy because Koko can finally be free from his injured body. On the way home, Koko and his friends went to the playground and they hang around there for a while. On the playground, Koko decided to put some harmless pranks to his friends. Koko said there was a lion behind them. His friends all ran and they hide behind a rock. Koko laughed so hard because his friends thought there was a lion. All his friends was upset because they took care of Koko for a long time but Koko just play pranks on them. His friends thought that he didn’t appreciate their help.
One night, Koko saw Kevin walking alone in the dark. He decided to put a joke on him. He made a ghost sound. Kevin was scared and he ran away. The next morning, Koko and all his friends gathered in the playground. Kevin told them what happened last night. They were all scared except Koko. He laughed and told them that it was him that made the spooky sounds. They all laughed together.
One day Koko felt really bored, so he went to Bob’s house. When he arrived, there was nobody home. Koko then went to Kevin’s house. But nobody was there either. So he went to Stuart’s house. When he arrived, he heard a sound of a balloon popped. Koko then rushed into Stuart’s house. He was surprised, his friends was preparing a birthday party for Koko. Koko cried in joy because he forgot his own birthday. He was very happy that their friends is still nice even though Koko was playing pranks on them. He was glad that he has a kind and loyal friends. They all hugged and ate the cake happily.
